Yes children are welcome aboard, they must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
Comfortable clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen and a jacket if its cool. We have a bare foot boat policy on board, so easily removable footwear is advised as you will be asked to take your shoes off before boarding.

Sail Lake Macquarie proudly operates as a licensed venue featuring a well stocked bar onboard. You're welcome to bring your own beverages; however, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing red wine or bottles of hard spirits. Please note that we do not have refrigeration available for guests' drinks. We adhere to NSW Liquor and Gaming Responsibility Service of Alcohol guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Intoxicated persons will not be permitted to board the vessel.
No. There is strictly no smoking permitted onboard the vessel.
If you wish to bring your own food onboard you are welcome to do so. However to preserve the pristine condition of our teak decks, we kindly request that no overly greasy foods be brought aboard due to potent oil staining.
For Lake Macquarie Yacht Club all guests are required to sign into the club, then the Captain and Crew will meet you at the gate to the Marina.
For Trinity Point Marina the Captain and crew will meet you on the bridge to the Marina.
At Sail Lake Macquarie, we embrace all weather conditions and are happy to sail even with a light rain. However, if significant incremental weather is forecasted, we will contact you the day before your charter. Weather forecasts can shift rapidly, so we wait until the afernoon prior to finalise our decision. The Captain will assess the most accurate forecast and determine if the charter proceeds. In the event of a cancellation due to weather, we will offer you the option to reschedule at your convenience, convert the booking into a gift card, or receive a full refund.
If they can walk up a couple of stairs with assistance, then yes and we can make them very comfortable on board. Unfortunately we do not have wheelchair access.
In the majority of cases yes, although notice is required. Please advise at time of booking or contact us to discuss your needs.
